Up for sale is a Vintage San Francisco 49ers Air Power Bike Green bladder football helmet.

Here’s what I know. This is a weird helmet because the interior color is purple(see photos). I’ve not seen this before in a 49ers helmet.

The helmet is from the mid 1980’s but the rear date code has been painted over and is not visible.

The last time the helmet was reconditioned was in 1990 by All American, black and white sticker tells me this(see photos).

The NJOP Schutt gray facemask is a date code 1989(JHI) and shows a lot of use(see photos). Three of the facemask clips are from 1988 and the other is from 1989.

The helmet has an AHI front bumper/sweatband and Bike 1” jaw pads(see photos).

The helmet has an American Flag on the back left that the NFL started to place on helmets in December 1990 to show support for Operation Desert Shield(see photos).

The helmet comes with all its’s interior pads and jaw pads(see photos). The helmet has a green Air Power double bladder.

The helmet shows a lot of gouges, scratches and paint transfer(see photo). The majority of the gouges and scratches are under the paint after being reconditioned(see photos).

This is a heavy helmet!

The helmet is intended for display purposes only and not to be used. The hat stands in the photos are not included with the sale.

The helmet will be shipped with insurance and signature required.

Please look over all the photos and ask questions prior to purchase.
