Up for sale is a pair of original 1981 Raiders of the Lost Ark promotional postcards, issued to advertise the release of the stereo videocassette of the film. These were distributed by theatres and rental stores as part of the early home-video promotional campaign.
Both cards feature the iconic Richard Amsel key art on the front.
The reverse includes the handwritten-style advertisement:
“BUY THE STEREO VIDEO CASSETTE – JUST $39.95”
and the teaser for the next film:
“Watch for Indy’s next adventure… May 25, 1984 – Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.”
