For 9-ply threading, it is recommended to use 9-ply for the upper thread and 6-ply for the lower thread (to minimize the number of times the bobbin thread needs to be changed).
For slant-head machines: use needles 45*180, 45*200, 45*230.
For flat-head machines: use needles 7*180, 7*250.
