Description:
Struck at Trier during the tense political balance between Licinius and Constantine this issue honors the protective spirit of the Roman people. The Genius type emphasizes stability prosperity and traditional Roman virtues during a period of civil rivalry. Trier produced some of the finest silvered folles of the early 4th century and high grade specimens with full silver wash are scarce survivors of this transitional monetary phase.
