Non-toxic food grade Teflon.

Double tapered with 2 different sizes- 1 side Ø 6 cm for small fruit and the other side Ø 7 cm  for larger fruit

Handle  has a Pole connection Ø 2.5 cm/25mm hole for a handle or telescopic rod (Pole/Rod not included) 

Simply insert onto the end of a pole or broom handle or similar then put  a screw to lock the unit in.

So, What do they taste like?

Many say that Fichi d'India are sweet but not too sweet. 

Some describe the flavor like a fig crossed with a plum.

They are also very seedy, with very small hard seeds,
Some like to feel the crunch of the seeds between their teeth, while others eat them as they do pomegranates, swallowing seeds along
with the gelatinous flesh (think of how the extra fiber will benefit your body). 

All over Italy, especially Sicily people love eating them fresh, especially when allowed to cool in the fridge, they get a magnificently juicy crunch when you bite into them

You will often find them skinned and ready to eat in market displays. 

The taste varies with the fruits  color varieties white, orange and red.

Some say that the red ones have more flavor than the other colors.
