Extremely Rare!! Discontinued Masterpiece!!
Waterloo by Collings WL-14X with Truss Rod – Mint Condition Just Arrived!!
Collings is a highly respected guitar manufacturer known for its outstanding quality, and Waterloo is its second brand. The Waterloo line was personally launched by Bill Collings, inspired by the 1930s Kalamazoo KG-14, which was originally marketed as Gibson’s second brand. These guitars are built in the Collings workshop with great respect for vintage construction and tone.
There are two WL-14 models available: the WL-14L with ladder bracing, and the WL-14X with X-bracing. Neck construction follows vintage specifications, offered with either a T-bar rod or an adjustable truss rod.
This particular guitar features X-bracing with an adjustable truss rod, the most sought-after and popular specification.
The finish is a satin nitrocellulose lacquer, and the neck has a comfortable vintage V profile. The headstock features a tapered head shape, another highly desirable detail.
The sound is wonderfully dry, deep, and highly responsive, delivering an inspiring vintage-style tone.
This is a one-owner guitar originally purchased new, and it has been lightly played only at home. The neck is in excellent condition, there is no fret wear, and the truss rod functions perfectly.
Please note that in the photos the top burst may appear slightly reddish in some areas, but in reality there is very little red tint, and the overall color is calm and well-balanced.
As this model has been discontinued, it will only become more difficult to find in the future.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity!
