Born Veston Goff Stewart in 1931, he would go on to play in all or part of 5 Major League Baseball seasons with the hapless Washington Senators. Stewart would compile an ERA of 6.01 and a 5-11 Win-Loss record during his career. Like all 1955 Topps baseball cards, this card carries Stewart’s autograph wherein he uses the name “Veston.”
