This is a beautiful solid sterling headstall,
not overlay or plate like most of todays silver. Maker marked Champion Turf on the crown. Buckles, tips and keepers marked- Moran SHG, Mexico, Sterling Silver. Silver ferrules separated by rawhide. Beautiful old silver would cost twice this to make. Collect or take back into the show ring.
