OFFERED ... a vintage post-1955 signed Monet© snowflake brooch that comes in its original box.  The brooch is dimensional and has a six-pointed open-work "spinnette" style snowflake on the base layer, topped with a six-point flat snowflake that has a chaton-cut rhinestone/crystal at each tip.  The third and final layer is a snowflake that has six solid arrow-shaped tips, accented in the center with a single chaton-cut rhinestone/crystal.  The brooch measures 2 1/4" in width.  It is in excellent condition with bright gold plating.  The box has a hinged opening that, when opened, raises the bottom of the box up for a nice presentation of the brooch.  The brooch is attached to a removable emerald green velvet card with pull tab; stabilizing bar under brooch broke when removed to take photographs.  The box shows minor wear commensurate with age.  Great piece for the collector.
