Early 20th-century American silverplate bread tray by English Silver Manufacturing Corporation, made in the U.S.A., circa 1915–1930.

This elegant bread tray features a long, narrow form with twin cast scroll handles, raised decorative feet, and a deeply engraved interior decorated with ornate scroll and foliate motifs. The substantial gauge, crisp engraving, and refined proportions reflect the quality craftsmanship associated with early American silverplate production prior to the Great Depression.

Traditionally used for presenting bread, rolls, pastries, or tea accompaniments, this piece also displays beautifully as decorative décor on a dining table, sideboard, coffee table, or vanity.
