His lower limbs are porcelain, there is paint loss visible on his shoes. The body is stuffed cotton with the lower arms and head also porcelain (bisque). The outfit has a bit of age discolouration though is in excellent condition with both brass and mother of pearl buttons in place. The face is handpainted with a bit of fading to the eyebrows. There are letters & numbers to the lower shoulder plate.
