12V Automotive Smoke Inspection Machine Car Smoke Leak Detector Diagnostic Smoke Detector Electronic Circuit
This is a professional auto pipe leak detect device (detector). It will help us position leakage on any pipe system quickly and exactly, such as EVAP system, Intake system, exhaust system...and so on.
This device (detector) is designed for detecting the leakage of pipe systems on cars, motorcycles, such as fuel pipe, air intake system and cooling tank. It is for all pipe system and EVAP.
Operation
1.) After assembling the accessories of the leak detector, refuel about 30ml smoke oil for the first time, and the filling can
work continuously for about 30 minutes; Overfilling will lead to insufficient internal heating and temperature rise and smoke-no or less smoke output.
2.) Open the vehicle engine cover and remove the air filter. Some vehicle need to remove the air flow sensor.
3.) Put the air inlet adapter on the air inlet hose port of the engine, plug the pipe, and press it tightly until the air inlet hose is sealed, block up the other side of pipe with a plug,(When using air bag, the maximum diameter should not exceed 10CM to avoid damage).
4.) Connect the power cord to the car battery. The red clip are connected to the positive pole of the battery, and the black clip are connected to the negative pole of the battery.
5.) Turn on the power switch and the power indicator light is on, indicating that the power of the device is normal.
6.)According to different vehicles, the engine will be filled with smoke in about 1 minute, and the leakage fault point will be
checked.
7.)After the inspection, remove the power cord and good storage the accessories for the next time use. The body of the air inlet adapter is made of rubber. Please avoid contact with corrosive liquids such as gasoline.
Oil drainage: when the device is used every time, drain the smoke oil to prevent the deposition of particles and affect the
function. After emptying, keep the internal seal.
Operation method: unscrew the cover of the smoke oil filler on the top of the device, turn the whole device upside down, let the remaining smoke oil flow out, and then screw back the cover.
Notes:
* Please do leak detection away from smoke-sensitive parts.
* Do not run the detector over 8 minutes. It needs interval rest.
* The detector has protector. If it exceeds working limit, it will power off automatically. In this condition, please wait for
operate it later.
* The round part of this detector inside is with temperature, be careful to avoid scalding injury.
Test of EVAP system (EVAP)
The EVAP service port is usually located in the engine compartment, but the EVAP service port of some special vehicles may be located in other locations. EVAP system detection method: open the plastic cover of the EVAP service port, then use the valve core wrench to remove the one-way valve clockwise, and then install the EVAP service port adapter to guide the smoke into the EVAP system from this port for leakage detection.
Smoke oil
This product can use smoke oil (baby massage oil, skin care glycerin or industrial glycerin). The selected smoke oil must be pure, water-free liquid and in fluid state. Do not use viscous smoke oil, which is easy to damage the device. It is recommended to use our company's strictly verified special smoke oil. If the product fails due to improper use of smoke oil, it is not within the scope of the product warranty. When adding smoke oil, please use the equipped pointed nozzle measuring bottle. If there is too much refueling, please open the oil drain and drain an appropriate amount of smoke oil.
Maintenance With longtime high temperature use, the smoke oil will oxidize and deteriorate. It will infect the service life of smoke device part, so please change smoke oil regularly.
1. Before filling fresh oil, please discharge the remaining oil in the device.
2. When the smoke output with water drops, please replace with fresh oil . Please fill fresh oil with equipped oil bottle.
