This is one destination from an original Southdown Motor Services Bus blind from the East Sussex area - it is dated 7/69 - with other references AS(H) 67 MOD.

On the far right hand side of each destination is the letter ‘H’ I believe this would refer to the Haywards Heath Bus station

The destination for sale here is Only the one listed below

Brighton

Size of the destination is approximately 81 x 19 cm

It is in generally good condition for its age there are some signs of wear & tear as you can see from the pictures - including some creases, there are also some dirty marks / stains

The lettering is bold and clear and in a very nice font

Although this does have some aging It is consistent with a blind that would have been in daily use & is over 50 years old .

Personally I think the aging adds to its charm

The back of the blind has no markings

I am showing a picture of this destination on the full blind (not part of this sale)

I am also showing pictures from a Southdown Timetable from July 1970 (East Sussex) which shows the routes that would have been taken for this destination - timetable shown is for route 36 (please note this is NOT included in the sale & just for informational purposes

This would look fantastic hanging on a wall

Postage will be £3.38 and will be sent in a card tube for protection.
