                Original Prussian postcard depicting Friedrich der Grosse (Frederick the Great), King of Prussia (1740–1786). High-quality late 19th century chromolithographed postcard with gold embossing and heraldic decoration. Postally used in 1901, with a clearly legible handwritten date and German Reichspost postmark, sent to Rome, Italy, bearing an original 5 Pfennig Reichspost stamp. Produced in the late 1890s and genuinely circulated in 1901, this postcard represents authentic early international postal history from Imperial Germany.

Condition:
Good to Very Good for age. Strong colors, visible embossing, light age toning and minor handling wear consistent with postal use. No restoration.
