This auction is for three (3) 400 to 450 count per package (1,200 min) of Trolling/Downrigger Release Rubber Bands. I have used these bands exclusively for over 20 years trolling with planer boards on Lake Eire for Walleye and Steelhead. I had experimented for several years with various brands, sizes, and compounds prior to finding these #14 Red Crepe Rubber Bands. These Rubber Bands are: Long Lasting, Heat Resistant, and have UV Ultra Protection. These Rubber Bands are Lake Eire Charter Captain tested and proven to be superior to any of the ones you find in your local office supply and bait stores. These Rubber Bands are tough and they don't break that easily, which the charter captains like so you are not replacing them every time you have an actual fish-on or a bump release. If you want the rubber band to break easily, don't purchase these. I have on occasion fished with the same rubber band all day as the rubber bands will stretch, maybe 6 to 8 inches and not always break and they will lay down on the reel spool when you retrieve your jet diver and allows you to reset it right back to the same depth each time. They work with plain spoons or worm harnesses very well. The manufacture of these rubber bands has recommended that unused rubber bands be stored in a cool dark place, like the refrigerator, as all rubber bands have a shelf life of about 3 to 5 years.
