For sale by the piece is this lovely and unique, vintage cotton seersucker medium light weight fabric made of yellow and white stripes with a juvenile novelty fish print.  Lovely cotton for childrens' clothes.  In the olden days, seamstresses made everything from baby booties to bow ties to suits with seersucker. This piece measures 3 yards and 2 inches long and is 38 inches wide. Seersucker is well behaved while being sewn and takes an iron well too. It has a nice, cozy, soft hand.  It works well to add texture to piece work or quilting or as a background for appliques.
