– International: ~5 working days
• Delivery times are estimates and do NOT include customs clearance, which varies by country
• You will receive a tracking number after ordering

ARRIVAL & HANDLING (IMPORTANT)
• Remove the rhizome from the vacuum seal upon arrival
• Place it in the refrigerator inside a sealed container, either:
– wrapped in a damp (not dripping) paper towel, or
– with a small amount of cold water in the container
• If the rhizome appears slightly limp after transit, refrigerate it as above for 20–30 minutes
Minor softness after shipping is normal for fresh wasabi and does NOT indicate spoilage.
STORAGE
• Store refrigerated in a sealed container with a damp paper towel or a small amount of cold water
• Best used within ~2 weeks for optimal flavour and aroma
• Small portions of grated wasabi may be frozen if needed
GROWING METHOD & QUALITY
Grown in suspended grow bags using a controlled semi-hydroponic system with perlite and coconut fibre.
This method minimizes soil contact, improves hygiene, and produces clean, healthy rhizomes compared to traditional in-ground cultivation.
GRATING & CULINARY TIPS
• Grate finely just before serving
• Allow grated wasabi to rest ~60 seconds — flavour and aroma peak after a short rest
• Serve immediately; fresh wasabi’s heat and aroma fade quickly
• Ideal for sushi, sashimi, seafood, dressings, sauces, and gourmet dishes
• Wasabi graters are available in our shop
