Pair Of Ceramic Floral Escutcheon

Description: This original pair of ceramic escutcheons come with a pressed brass backplate and fitting screw. The floral motif was very popular in the Victorian era; being used across door and window furniture in ceramic materials. The screw passes through both the ceramic escutcheon and its brass backplate into the door. With the smaller pair of screws fixing the backplate in place.

Condition: Very good. No chips or cracks to the ceramic. The brass backplates and screws have some patina to them due to the age of this piece.
