Description: This quality door knob is in brass and originally manufactured by Gibbons of Wolverhampton, (stamped Gibbons Wolverhampton to the reverse). The backplate has four countersunk screw holes for mounting and is a more unusual slim shape. Takes a classic square bar spindle if fitting with existing handles. This one dates to the late 1800 to early 1900’s.


Condition: Very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with the age and use of the piece. This door knob has its original patina which adds to the charm.
