When the ornament is connected to a Hallmark magic keepsake power cord it has interactive light and sound effects. When you have multiple ornaments from the same story teller set connected they interact with one another and play out scenes from the movie with their effects. The ornament was tested and is in excellent working condition. The box shows some wear and or marks from being in storage as can be seen in the photos.
