The watch chain comes from a remaining stock of a former jewelry company in Idar-Oberstein, I have many more such and similar watch chains. The chains are not about real gold or real silver chains, if only gold-plated or silver-plated or Nickel or chrome. Since these chains were probably manufactured during or after the war years, and gold and silver was very precious at that time, this jewelry was mostly made from other materials. I don't know the exact age myself, probably from the last production times of the jewelry company!
