Vintage Getzen French Horn - SOLD AS IS

This french horn was previously owned. The instrument is nickel plated with a kruspe wrap. There is plating wear and scratches throughout the instrument. There is a patch on the 1st rotor F tuning slide crook. There is a broken solder joint (bell throat to 1st bell branch). This french horn has a stop valve which allows the player to easily access stopped notes, which are typically achieved by partially covering the bell with the hand on a regular horn. Since a single Bb horn only has one set of valves, it cannot access the lower register notes readily available on an F horn without a stop valve. New case recommended.
