On auction is an ultra rare collector's Red Dial divers variant of the Ferrari Formula by Cartier, released in the late 1980s. For those who might not know the history of Ferrari Formula models, they were made for Ferrari in Switzerland, by Cartier. Even though these were originally made as a gent's watch, with their 9mm thick case, they should be perfectly suitable for ladies as well. Fully functional, runs accurately, and comes with a brand new Seiko battery. Original brown Ferrari box and booklet is included well. More information about the watch will be described below. Case: 42mm in diameter with the crown guard included (39mm without the crown guard), 45mm from lug to lug, and 9mm in height. Full stainless steel case in a brushed finish, with a diver unidirection bazel, and a screw down case back. Bazel turns and clicks smoothly. For the age of these models, the case is still in excellent condition. Most visible scratches are on the case back, the bazel and the bazel insert.

Dial: Original Racing Red dial, lumed Black hands, lumed baton indexes, and a date window at 3 o'clock. Superb condition, with no damage nor patina! Original lume is of course too old to glow brightly, or hold the charge for long.

Crown: Original screw down crown. Fully operational, and without any cosmetic damage. 

Crystal: Original flat mineral crystal. Still in perfectly clean condition, and with no scratches.

Bracelet: Original full stainless steel brushed "beads of rice" style bracelet signed by Ferrari. 16 links for a total length of 18.3cm
. Clasp locks perfectly, and has a spring loaded diver's extension as well. The bracelet is still in very clean condition, with almost all of the visible scratches being on the clasp.

Weight: 102g with the bracelet included.

Water Resistant: 100M. A vintage watch should never be submerged under water until all gaskets are replaced, and the watch was pressure tested at a watchmaker.

Movement: Original vintage Quartz movement signed by Ferrari in caliber ETA 955.412. Fully functional, runs accurately, and comes with a brand new Seiko battery. No service records on this movement.
