A truly rare & beautiful solid silver push button opening Victorian vesta case that has a stunning engine turned design with a spring loaded push button opening that works perfectly well & a serrated striker to the side of the case with a slot to the top of the case for a match stick to sit & burn so that your fingers do not burn as you see in pictures

The case is in excellent condition with just 1 minor ding & has been fully hallmarked to the base & also hallmarked to the lid & has a superb crest of a Knights head & shoulders.

The vesta case was made in Birmingham by top quality silver maker
