This is an authentic Japanese Shimenawa (Sacred Rope), 

a traditional rope used in Shinto shrines to mark sacred spaces and invite good fortune.

This model is a large 9 shaku (approx. 270 cm / 9 ft) taiko-dome style rope,

handcrafted in Japan by skilled artisans.

It is the same type used in shrines, sumo ceremonial decorations, and New Year displays.

Made with high-quality natural rice straw and tightly braided for durability and a beautiful traditional appearance.
