Factory BMW E70 X5  Style 214 Y-Spoke Staggered 20" Light Alloy Wheels, RESTORED Super Wet Black, a highly reflective and durable powdercoat finish.

 

This is a refurbished set of staggered four wheels done in a super high gloss black powdercoat.

  • OEM E70 X5 optional M-Sport alloy wheels, made by Ronal for BMW.
    • BMW PN 36 11 6 772 249 Front
    • BMW PN 36 11 6 772 250 Rear
    • Size = 20x10, offset = 40mm Front
    • Size = 20x11, offset = 37mm Rear
    • Lug spacing is 5 on 120 mm.
    • Center bore = 74.1 mm
     
  • Fully Restored. 
    • This included a chemical dip to remove all paint, followed verifying the wheels were true, and professionally repairing some curb rash on each of the wheels.  There were no bends in any of the wheels.  However, even though the wheels held air, 2 wheels had cracks on the rear lip (one had 3 and one had 1).  These cracks were cleaned out and welded as shown in a few of the photos.  All four wheels spin straight and true and have no mechanical issues.
    • The entire wheel (minus the mounting pad) was then powdercoated with a Super Wet Black powdercoat  to provide a very thick and extremely glossy durable finish.  
    • The finish is outstanding everywhere with complete coverage with minimal orange peal texture.   There are no flaws that I can find in the wheels or the finish except for a couple super small spots, as shown in the photos. One wheels shows some pitting spots, as the metal apparently off-gassed during the powdercoating process, leaving many small pin head spots in the finish.  See the photos.  Please use the zoom feature to examine.  
    • Includes very good use OEM center caps with Roundel emblems. 
    • The 60 degree conical seat lug hole surfaces were reamed and the mounting pad was sanded to make sure all the powdercoat was removed from these critical surfaces. 
    • I have spun each wheel on a balancer and verified that it is 100% trued and straight. 

    You will be hard pressed to find a nicer set of these wheels! At least one photo of each wheel is shown below.  Supersize to see the details.  One photos shows the same type of wheel on my F15 X5.

    These wheels will fit BMWs E53, E70, and F15 X5 models (for E53 you will want hubcentric rings).  These will fit fit E71 X6 models as well.  The last photo shows my F15 X5 fit with the same style wheels finished the same way, albeit a bit dirty.  

    To see these wheels on your type of BMW, google the car type and "style 214".  A photo may show up.

    Packaging.  I ship this set of wheels as singles, so this set will go out in 4 boxes.  Each wheel is double-boxed, with rigid foam material between each box.   This adds some cost ($50+), but my wheels never get damaged in transit.

    RETURNS.  Aardvarc take great pride in providing used and restored wheels that are packaged and shipped in the condition described.  We are experts in the field and do not offer items that are defective.  Once wheels leave our facility, damages can occur (rarely).  We encourage the buyer to open and fully inspect this set of wheels within 3 days of receipt and make any "not as described" claims within this period.   In the event the buyer is not pleased with the wheels due to Aardvarc's error in not properly describing the wheels or as a result of transport, Aardvarc will accept and pay for return shipping of the wheels, and will make a full refund or make the appropriate repairs and ship the wheel(s) back to the buyer at Aadvarc's expense.  If the buyer's installer damages a wheel, Aardvarc is willing to make any repairs at the buyer's expense.  If the buyer  has "buyer's remorse" and wants to return the wheels because they do not fit his car or are not the correct color, size, or other aspect, Aardvarc will accept a return and refund buyer's full payment minus the original shipping cost and a 10% restocking fee.  In other words, be sure you want this set of wheels.
