Thin, medium-weight steel tag uses a bright white base with jet-black embossed lettering. 100% original paint, with NO touch-ups. Includes star logo digit separator at center common to most Texas plates of the '50s and '60s.

Plate is STRAIGHT and lies completely FLAT, with no tears to metal, no extra holes, NO RUST, and no dents. A few scratches and scuffs, consistent with age and use. Paint is SOLID and STRONG, with still excellent gloss. Extra mystery drip of white paint at top right corner. Could easily be remounted on wall or other flat surface.
