The Minnesota Twins defeat the Chicago White Sox 5 to 4 behind the strength of home runs from Kent Herbeck and Brian Harper.

Kirby Puckett was

1-4.

The White Sox countered with Home runs from Rob Ventura and Frank Thomas but it wasn’t enough to stave off the loss.

Thomas homer was his 14th of the season and the 21st of his young career.
