You can really feel the characteristic midrange response and the quality tonewoods that define Tom Anderson instruments. Compared to other high-end brands like Suhr and James Tyler, this Classic delivers a straightforward appeal that only Tom Anderson can offer.

The guitar features a Swamp Ash body and a Hard Rock Maple neck, with a 12" fingerboard radius. It is equipped with SC1 single-coil pickups and an H2+ humbucker.

It includes the Tom Anderson Switcheroo system. The 3-way pickup selector allows coil-tap or parallel sounds in the forward position, the center is pickup off, and the rear position selects series mode. The miniswitch inside the pickguard allows assignment of coil-tap or parallel to each pickup, offering highly versatile tone options. You can access it easily from the back panel without removing the pickguard. Additionally, a blower switch is installed to instantly engage the bridge humbucker — for example, playing rhythm with tapped front or middle pickup and then cutting through with a thick humbucker tone for solos.

It shows normal signs of use and some tarnishing on metal parts from age, but no signs of heavy wear. Frets show minimal wear. Pickups, tremolo unit, and pickguard screws have been replaced. The neck is in excellent condition, the truss rod works both ways, and the electronics function properly.
