Beautiful and desirable 1950s to 1960s signed Jospeh Warner of New York mechanical flower pin. it is in near pristine condition.

Opening/closing mechanism works quite well and is somewhat fluid. First two pictures shows the open and close extremes that I was comfortable moving it to.

One of the leaves on the bottom is a disguised lever used to open and close the petals on this amazing flower brooch! By moving that leaf, you can adjust how open or closed you want the flower to be. This brooch is in a bright and brushed golden tone metal and I believe from the 1950's.
