Up for your consideration is a Stavangerflint of Norway ceramic wall plaque in the Tourist genuine Norwegian design by Inger Waage. On the front, there is a couple in festive garb (perhaps traditional Norwegian costumes). The couple is surrounded by flowers at the bottom edge, a basket in the center, a fishing hut on the right side. In the middle background is a roofed house or church. The design is executed in light blue, turquoise, gold, and rusty red.
The wall plaque stands slightly more than 7 inches tall, measures 7 1/4 inches across the bottom edge, and weighs 13 ounces. There is a hole at the top end for hanging this triangular plaque, dish, or plate.
The bottom is marked: TOURIST - Genuine Norwegian Design by Inger Waage - flower - Stavangerflint w/ symbol - Norway.
The wall plaque is in very good, vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. There is some paint loss to the front side, especially around the hole for hanging this plaque (see the photos).
