Joe
and Charlie Big Book Study and more now on a handy USB flash drive.
This 12 step
study consists of more than 11 hours of audio, recording Joe and Charlie
reading and explaining the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous. While
covering The History, The Doctors Opinion and pages 1 through 164, they clarify the
distinction between the "program" of Alcoholics Anonymous—the 12
steps—and the "fellowship," which is the social and community aspect
of AA meetings. While the fellowship is crucial for support, they emphasized
that the program of the 12 steps is the actual method for achieving sobriety.
Their guidance through the process of the steps has helped thousands of
alcoholics recover. This workshop will be an enhancement to any study of the Big
Book.
Included on the thumb
drive is a .pdf file containing the 12 handouts Joe & Charlie
passed out at their seminars.
Also included on the flash drive is a recording "Trudging the Road" where Joe and Charlie talked about how presenting the Big Book Studies impacted their own recovery.
As well as individual recordings of Charlie P., Joe McQ. and Joe McC. each telling their own stories at Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
This is a wonderful assortment of Joe and Charlie’s 12 step work and would make an excellent gift for anyone in recovery.
