The M24-0, successor to the Multicar M22, was manufactured by VEB Fahrzeugwerk Waltershausen from 1974. With significantly more power (45 HP), the small truck could reach speeds of 50 km/h. At first only available with a driver seat, the M24-0 got a passenger seat in 1977. Many superstructures were developed for the vehicle, including a rotating ladder, a dump body, a flat bed with loading aid and many more.
