It was created using algorithms and artificial intelligence. The replication accuracy is 1/1000 of an inch. The project was completed in 2025 and lasted 60 days. Detailed information about the project is described on numerous Atari forums, including AtariAge.
Compared to the original project, the following improvements were made:
- the ground connection of capacitor C102, which is connected to the power line for the joystick ports
- stitching vias were added on the exposed ground plane around the board (this is the case in most Atari projects and it should be this way)
- stitching vias were added on the RF Modulator pad to connect bottom parts of pads with GND - it prevents Composite signal distortions that are generated by the modulator (that has connection to ground on the casing).
