No stains that I see- and I almost thought no holes, but I did find a tiny little one near the top edge on the side- hopefully you can see in the pictures. It’s very small.

Not really much elastic to the shorts, there is a Velcro closure and small ties in the front. Waist is about 22-23 inches all the way around.
