• Grade 2 / Original Condition - An interesting piece of field tailoring from a Dutch soldier. Made of a combat parka, the jacket has been turned into more of a cropped ike style jacket but is unhemmed at the new length. Generally a bit more distressed and the price reflects the likely need for some more care.

A wonderful piece of modern surplus from the Netherlands. Worn by thousands of Dutch soldiers throughout their career this parka offers plenty of storage without compromising on durability. Made of a comfortable 50/50 polycotton blend, the coat offers manoeuvrability while being out in rugged environments and comfort just in day to day situations.

As mentioned, there is ample space for all of your knickknacks, with 4 large torso pockets and a small sleeve pocket, all of which can be fastened shut. The jacket is closed by a heavy duty zipper and stud button closure. For extra insulation you'll find 2 internal drawstrings offering a snug and tailored fit as well as adjustable sleeve cuffs.

The camouflage is the Dutch clone of the iconic British DPM woodland camouflage, a brilliant pattern which still sees use today. The Dutch variant has a slightly warmer tone, but still works brilliantly in a temperate environment.
