The PORTER UNIT series incorporates a military-inspired aesthetic into a casual-chic style using original CORDURA® ballistic nylon fabric. The simple design is complemented by all hardware, including zippers, finished in the same matte tone as the exterior, creating a refined, monochromatic look.

The main material is a durable CORDURA® ballistic nylon, known for its excellent tear and abrasion resistance. For the first time in CORDURA’s history, this nylon is finished in a twill weave, giving it a unique sheen and crisp texture. Its high durability makes it ideal for everyday use as well as travel, ensuring long-lasting performance in any situation.

The lining is made of olive green nylon ripstop, providing good visibility and a contrasting texture while reinforcing the military impression of the design. The attached tapes are made from CORDURA® nylon yarn, woven in a twill pattern to match the fabric, offering volume and a pleasant tactile feel. The ends of the tapes feature the original spec tag, further emphasizing the military aesthetic.

CORDURA® ballistic nylon was originally developed by DuPont around the 1940s for military tactical vests (Ballistic) using high-density woven 66 nylon yarns with excellent tear and abrasion resistance. Production has since moved to Invista, and the fabric is now widely used in military, outdoor, and urban applications.
