Multi-Layer Protection 

 Built-in MOVs instantly detect voltage spikes and absorb excess energy, preventing it from reaching sensitive electronics and appliances.  When voltage exceeds normal operating levels, the MOVs switch from a high-resistance state to a low-resistance state, safely redirecting excess current to the ground.  Segmented MOVs ensure higher energy absorption capacity, allowing the surge protector to withstand multiple surge events over time
