The Brian Crower BC0040S valve spring and retainer kit is engineered for high-performance applications in Honda K20A, K20Z, F20C, and F22C engines. Wound from premium chrome silicone alloy by PAC Racing, the BC1040 dual valve springs offer consistent pressures for high RPM reliability. The kit includes steel retainers (BC2011) and spring seats (BC2904), ensuring durability and performance.
With a free spring length of 2.025" and a net cam lift capacity of up to 0.550" (13.97mm), this kit is suitable for both street and race applications. The seat pressure of 80 lbs at 1.590" and open pressure of 250 lbs at 1.110" prevent valve float, while the coil bind height of 1.030" ensures safe operation. Designed for easy installation, no machining is required in compatible cylinder heads.
