Brand new in box. There is some very minor cosmetic damage to the box. It is hard to see in the photos, but there is a tiny, faint smudge on the side of one of the box's. I have taken a photo of it above, but it is so faint, it's hard to see with a picture. The box's also have some damage to the bottom &. top flap, just from being in a box with a bunch of other makeup products, i.e. the corner edge is flipped up, etc. I tried to take a picture that reflected this, but again, it was hard to document through a photo. I did try!
Also, the expiration on these are 11/2025. *** I have adjusted the price to reflect the relatively soon expiration date printed on the box***. However, to save you some time, and some money hopefully, I have researched the importance of this date, and this is what I found;
- The Period After Opening (PAO): Once you open the foundation, the printed expiration date becomes less relevant. The new, more important deadline is indicated by the "open jar" symbol on the packaging, which shows the number of months the product is good for after it is first unsealed. For a liquid foundation like this one, the PAO is typically 12M (12 months).
- This date indicates how long the product retains its safety and effectiveness before being opened
To me, this means that if it is opened before the expiration date, the new date to watch for is 12 Months from the day it was opened. The main concern with these are that the ability of the sunscreen to protect you the way it is advertised, will start to degrade. So if it is like SUPER important that you get the full SPF 20 mineral sunscreen, then I would suggest purchasing one with a date that is further away. IF you're okay with getting 18 SPF, or 15 SPF maybe 10 months from now, then this is a STEAL. Let me know if you have questions. I've done my best to explain. Thanks.
