The Corning silicone septa fit into open top PBT caps (No. 1395-45HTSC) with
GL45 threads to allow for aseptic reagent delivery or culture sampling using a
syringe and needle. They can be autoclaved at 121°C or dry heat sterilized at
up to 180°C.
