These JABO Kokomo Marble run was one of those JABO production runs where Dave procured a special high quality glass from a well known glass company. Kokomo marbles are glass marbles made by JABO using the glass from the Kokomo Opalescent Glass (KOG) Company in Kokomo, Indiana. The very high surface quality of these marbles are considered "Wet Mint" due to the extremely high fire polish these marble obtained.
This particular Kokomo marble has the famous wet mint surface quality as well as some fantastic burnt orange sparkling glass mixed into this little gem. The ivory base Kokomo glass is simply delicious and the random flecks of huge green aventurine flakes is simply amazing. You won't find many JABO/DAS marbles of this quality for sale, so make sure to not let this one pass you by. This is a serious collectors dream and I will miss having this one locked up in by keeper vault. You won't find a more unique combination of Kokomo glass and the talented skills of JABO technicians mixed into the same marble. Enjoy!
I try my best to take high resolution pictures with flash to show exactly what you are getting. I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with flash to show all the details of the marble that might not be visible in lower lighting conditions. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is 0.721" as measured with electronic calipers.
