The Art of
Conversation by Milton Wright (1871-1957) was originally published by Halcyon
House in 1948. Vintage Reprint Edition.
Milton Wright was
a prolific American author and business consultant who wrote many popular
self-help books during the mid-20th century. His book The Art of
Conversation is a classic self-help book that approaches conversation not
as a natural, effortless act, but as a skill that can be studied, practiced,
and mastered. It's a fascinating look at how communication was viewed in the
mid-20th century and offers timeless advice on human interaction.
Very Good vintage
condition. Brown hardcover has very clean covers with minor wear at the ends
and sides of the spine. Title, author’s last name and publisher are printed in

top edge (red). Front and back endpapers are clean with age-toning and some
light foxing. Back endpaper has bubbled in the middle (see picture). Binding is
strong and intact. 354 numbered pages are age-toned with some light foxing,
consistent with age and are pristine with no markings, creases, tears or
stains. Conversational exercises are at the end of each chapter, and an Index
is included.
