ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Original 1986 Japan-for-Australia CD of the collection of early singles by The Cure, issued in Australia under the title, Standing On A Beach - The Singles.

No barcode on the rear inlay.  The end-spines include a dot between the band’s name and the two parts of the title.

This is the first Australian CD release of this collection.  The disc was pressed by Sanyo in Japan, specifically intended for sale in Australia.  Australia did not start manufacturing discs domestically until 1987.

CONDITION:
CD is in EXCELLENT/VERY GOOD condition, a few light superficial hairline scuffs, disc plays perfectly.

Booklet and rear inlay are in EXCELLENT/VERY GOOD condition, no creases or tab dents to the booklet. A previous owner has inscribed their name neatly on the rear panel of the booklet along the top edge.

The jewel case is the original heavy smooth-sided case with ‘Patent Pending S’ embossed on the rear, lower-right corner. Jewel case is in EXCELLENT condition, light scuffs, no cracks, no breaks or other blemishes.

This is an original and genuine factory-pressed CD with its full original documentation in its original intact jewel case. It is not a CD-R, not a copy and not a bootleg.
