SEAT BELT INFORMATION: Cadillac/Buick seat belts (full sized models) were basically the same length as other GM divisions, but they were nicer. Cadillac belts were color coordinated to the interiors (not boring black like many GM models!) and they did not use plastic covered / painted buckle ends (that cracked and scuffed). Instead they had the 1960's style chrome & brushed metal look. The logo was "GM" so these can be used to enhance the interior of any Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile or Pontiac as well.

THIS AUCTION: Full REAR Seat Belt set for GM full size cars 1965 (?)-1971 (?). There are a total of 6 pieces (3 sets = 3 Adjustable Straps with Male end, 3 Straps with Female Buckle end. Essentially this is the entire package for that era.
PRODUCTION DATE: January of 1969 (Used in the 1969 GM model year cars). See Date Code tags in the photo section.
COLOR: MEDIUM GREEN
PHYSICAL CONDITION: This is an amazing find, a complete low-use Survivor FULL SET of 1969 GM REAR Seat Belts, as used in the Full Size Coupes, 4 door Sedans and Station Wagons. The belt strap material is exceptionally clean and free of heavy stains for being 56 years old. There is no sun-bleached color fade/loss like you would expect to see on Southern/Hot Climate cars. The coloring is nice and even and still has the Green Shimmer to it. The belt material is very soft and very flexible. There may be a few random loose threads, usually where the production label is stitched onto them (common....clip the threads off if desired). All of the Belts are in great condition - superb shine to the Chrome, which is also free of pitting and haze. The buckles all work excellent. Obviously they have much lower than average use & age characteristics.
Overall I grade the Green Rear Seat Belt Set set at a strong 9.0-9.5 on a 10 scale. That is about as good as you could ever hope to find~! Great SURVIVORS~!

SEAT BELT HISTORY AND USABILITY INFORMATION: GM/Cadillac seat belts changed a lot with the US safety requirement of the late 1960's & early 1970's. Almost every other year presented another step forward in the evolution of seat belt technology and safety.
It's up to YOU to verify the usability in your car PRIOR to purchasing. Plenty of pics for you to compare to your current belts. LIKELY THESE BELTS COULD FIT THE FOLLOWING 1967-72 MODELS (SOMETIMES WITH SLIGHT MODIFICATION) --
