Skilfully-crafted using recycled magazine paper beads, this Fair Trade pendant makes a unique fashion statement.

•   The beads are individually hand-rolled out of shredded paper which is tightly formed into discs with the aid of glue and then lightly varnished for durabilty.

•   Each bead is then threaded and seperated by tiny Maasai beads, adding detail.

•   A larger bead at the front finishes-off the design.

•   It takes one sheet of A4 magazine paper to make this larger bead. 

•   The necklace is secured at the top with a silver-coloured metal hook, which is non-adjustable.

This recycled magazine paper pendant has been handmade by a woman's group in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya.

DIMENSIONS -  when opened out, the necklace is 50 cm long.
The diameter of the large bead is 3 cm.
