Gauge H0 / 1:87 Epoch 6.
Railpool electric locomotive 155 138-1.
Shape variant!
From 1977 onwards, the Deutsche Reichsbahn procured 270 series locomotives of the 250 series (later the BR 155) for heavy freight train service. Due to the lack of streamlined curves, which are negligible given the low top speed, it was nicknamed the “electricity container” or “brick”.
In 2017, Deutsche Bahn sold 100 locomotives to a consortium led by Railpool and Toshiba. The 155 138 was given a shiny silver dress by Railpool to attract attention. Some of the locomotives approved for use in Germany and Austria were offered for sale.
