This is a decorative amphora, possibly made to resemble ancient Greek or Roman pottery. It stands 25" tall and about 11 inches wide. It features intricate relief carvings depicting scenes, possibly mythological or historical, including chariots pulled by horses and figures in various poses. The inscription "AYTOMEDON" is visible on the upper band of the relief, which could refer to Automedon, the charioteer of Achilles in Greek mythology.
