Attributed to the renowned Viennese retailer and manufacturer Ernst Wahliss, this piece has no specific factory mark but is in the distinct style of similar pieces from Wahliss's Bohemian Alexandra Porcelain Works, which was established by Ernst's sons, Hans and Erich, who took over the business after his death in 1900.
This rather special vase has some faults, a small historic repair to the rim, a minor tip missing from one of the handles and some age-related crazing, (see photos), all of this has been reflected in the asking price and this remains a stunning piece of porcelain.
Measures approx. 26cm height.
