Case is stamped with 25 years (typically means the gold plating is guarenteed for 25 years). Face has some considerable wear/color loss but is not too rough to be readable. Still very unique and insteresting. Back is customized with a shield and initials. Movement reads: AWWGo Waltham,Mass. 17Jewels. and the SN. Case reads: For Waltham C.W.c.Co. Trake Mark, Colonial Series Guaranteed Cresent for 25 Years 8095 as well has some hand scratched numbrs (as pictured). Movement may need serviced to run again. It does make appropriate sounds when hand wound but does not seem to move. There are some visual imperfections you can see in the watch time peice. It did tick breifly while I was handling it but did not seem to change the time at all. It is rare that colonial watches have their original cases with them and colonial series watches do not fit in other cases as far as I could find when researching.
